Prior to your initial Massage Therapy treatment at Grand Core Physiotherapy, your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will have you complete a confidential detailed health history and if necessary, perform an assessment of your current condition. The assessment may include neurological or orthopaedic tests and hands-on manipulation to identify your individual needs as well as any other factors that may be contributing to your injury or condition. Your RMT will then develop an individualized treatment plan with you to ensure that you are receiving an appropriate treatment for the condition present and answer any questions you may have. Your RMT may also include in your treatment suggestions for home care such as exercises, stretching and hydrotherapy.

At Grand Core Physiotherapy, our Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) are in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Between our practitioners, they have training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Perinatal/Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, Cupping Therapy and Hot Stone Massage.

Christina is a Registered Physiotherapist and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

She has been practicing since 2016, graduating from the University of Alberta. She has received additional training in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, where she treats pre/post-partum women, urinary incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain in both men and women. She is also trained in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Spinal Manipulations.

Meet Alyxandra Melymuka, a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) practicing in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Graduating from the Massage Therapy program at Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2021, Alyxandra boasts an extensive clinical background treating individuals of all ages and conditions. Proficient in a variety of massage techniques, including General Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Scar Tissue Mobilization, and TMJD Massage, she ensures a tailored approach to address diverse client needs.

After successfully graduating, Alyxandra demonstrated a deep commitment to enhancing her expertise by pursuing advanced courses that align with her practices focus on pregnancy and infant massage. Recognizing the unique needs and sensitivities of these specific populations, she sought additional training to ensure that her approach is not only effective but also tailored to provide the utmost care, safety and comfort.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, ON, Alyxandra has deep roots in the community. Her warm and welcoming treatment room exudes a beachy vibe – a testament to her happy place and constant desire to travel. Kaitlin Pavey is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in excellent standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Kaitlin’s journey into wellness began at St. Lawrence College, where she pursued studies in Fitness and Health Promotion. It was there that Kaitlin discovered her passion for aiding others in attaining healthier lifestyles. Following her graduation in 2012, she embarked on a career as a Physiotherapy Assistant, but realized she wanted to expand a deeper understanding of the Human Body and it led her to enroll in the Massage Therapy program at Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2016, and graduating in 2018.

In her practice, Kaitlin is committed to identifying the root causes of her patients’ discomfort, applying her expertise to provide tailored treatments. Complementing her therapeutic approach, she draws upon her background in fitness to prescribe personalized exercises for at-home care. Proficient in a range of massage therapy techniques, including General Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release.

Carmen is a registered physiotherapist, in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, who graduated from D’Youville College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015.

During her studies, she had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of disciplines including orthopaedics, paediatrics and acute patient care. Carmen completed her thesis concerning “Exercise Training in Pregnant Women” which was later accepted and presented at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in 2016. She is fully certified in pelvic floor physiotherapy (Level 1-3) and has extended training in paediatrics. Carmen is passionate about helping others to achieve their goals throughout the rehabilitative process.

In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, staying active through exercise, skating and soccer, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Kristen is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy (2013); and from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology (Honours) (2011). As a student athletic therapist, she gained experience working with Brock Men’s Baseball, and a local Junior B Lacrosse team.

Kristen has been working in Niagara Falls and within general orthopaedics since 2013. She opened Grand Core Physiotherapy in September 2021. She has special interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, and is a Level 2 Trained Provider in SHIFT Concussion Management.
